Pay attention and try to take a break from all the million thoughts in your head when talking to them, hear them and be present in your conversation.

It shows that you genuinely care about them and are their for support even when only moral.

4. Give them space: No matter how much you love each other, respecting each other's need for privacy and space is just as important as spending time together. This does not mean ignore them just try to understand when they might need some alone time to recharge, doing things they might not be able to do with you. Personal space can help a person declutter their mind, decompress and understand themselves especially during stressful times. Use communication and active listening to understand when your partner might need that much needed alone time.
